josie and anthoni troilo are the husband and wife team and co-owners of citrus salon and day spa. their passion for each other and the beauty industry led them to create the citrus brand in 2004.

both josie and anthoni are active 'behind the chair' hairdressers as well as are directly responsible for the day to day operations at citrus.

they have spent over 20 years in the beauty industry mastering both advanced cutting and coloring techniques.

josie and anthoni love working together to create an unforgettable experience for their staff as well as their clients. assembling a team of like-minded professionals who share the same core values such as respect, integrity, passion, craftsmanship, and commitment is the key to their success.

they both love traveling and spending time with their families. they also enjoy the theatre and working on projects together. josie enjoys shopping, taking walks and creating unforgettable memories for the family. anthoni enjoys reading, playing golf, good movies, sporting events and making people smile. they invite you to experience their warm space and wonderful staff, and look forward to being a part of your unforgettable life.

only a few have as much experience and expertise as larry. with five decades of experience in hair cutting and hair dressing, larry continues to spread his love of the craft by teaching and helping young stylists gain confidence in their careers.

larry himself has trained under some of the best in the business : vidal sassoon, john dellaria, martin parsons and vivienne mackinder to name a few. he is a member of intercoiffure, a prestigious world-wide organization.

christina derose
stylist

for over five years, christina has been gaining experience in highlighting & single process coloring, men's and women's cutting, styling, keratin straightening treatments and hairdreams extensions.

christina believes that it is important to advance oneself in creativity and she does this by continuing her advanced training at various institutions like bumble & bumble, wella studio, oribe, martin parson, jo blackwell and sam villa.

she loves creating beautiful natural looking color and color enhancements followed by a sleek and flowing design. christina loves fashion, golf, travel and anything that's challenging. she believes fashion and hair go hand in hand.

monica boccella
stylist

inspired by her sister, who is a hair stylist, monica now has thirteen years of experience in multidimensional highlighting, corrective color and hair retexturing processes. with her unique ability and her love for creative color, monica creates beautiful updated looks with a fabulous finish and style.

monica's quality work has landed her the spot as the star on an emmy nominated t.v. show 'split ends'. she travels all over the world in her quest for the latest techniques.

john hanlon
stylist

with over thirty years of experience in hair color and hair cutting, john is an expert in perming and hair coloring. he has trained with some of the top professionals in the industry.

john's philosophy is to produce beautiful hair color while maintaining the integrity and health of the hair. he believes 'less is more' and prefers natural tousled haircuts and styles.

he loves sports and is an avid tennis player.

tonya nice
stylist

tonya has eight years of experience in haircutting/styling, coloring, bio-ionic relaxer, keratin reconstruction and perming.

having attended prestigious institutions like the wella studio nyc, bumble & bumble university and graham webb dc, she now enjoys working and teaching here at citrus. her work has been published in haircutting magazines.

tonya enjoys outdoor activities and also volunteers her time in downtown philadelphia.

stephanie burdick
stylist

stephanie is experienced in haircutting, all color services including foils, single process, corrective color, relaxers, perms, keratin treatments, hairdreams extensions and in hair styling such as updos, blow dry and curls.

with four years of experience, stephanie constantly keeps herself updated on all the latest and advanced techniques by attending training classes and workshops provided by bumble & bumble, ny and wella sudio, ny among others.

stephanie loves being around people and enjoys the different experiences they bring into her life. she also loves reading, movies and anything vintage.

nicole meyers

nicole finds it quite rewarding to make people look beautiful. she has four years of experience in haircuts, hair styling, single process color, highlights, corrective color, perms, relaxers and keratin treatments.

she continues to keep up with the latest techniques and trends by training at wella, bumble & bumble, oribe and alexander matiz.

nicole has a great interest in aviation and is aiming at getting her private pilot license in the near future. she enjoys cooking, fishing and playing golf.

in just four years with citrus, nina has gained immense experience in hair cutting, coloring, styling and chemical texture services.

she has attended many training courses at various institutions like vidal sasoon, oribe, bumble & bumble, jo blackwell, alexander matiz and many more.

with her fun nature and an impeccable customer service, she aims at making her clients look and feel their best. she hopes to collaborate fashion with hairstyling to reinvent old looks and make a career as an editorial stylist.

farrah has been coloring and styling hair for four years and does an excellent job of choosing the hair color for her clients and perfecting it with her blowdrying skill.

she enjoys doing activities with her young son. she also enjoys dinner, movies and long drives with her family.

melissa d'amico
stylist

melissa has thirteen years of experience in women's cut and style, men's style, single and multidimensional color, formal styling, keratin treatments and retexturing. trained in wella color, advanced techniques and corrective color, bumble & bumble advanced cutting and trend techniques including razor cutting, melissa specializes in men's styling and curly hair styling.

she is currently attending west chester university for a b.s. in business management.

she enjoys cycling, photography and outdoor activities.
